New Jersey

With the Knicks losing to the Raptors in 5 on Friday, it's up to the Devils to defend the region's honor against Toronto. The New Jersey hockey team looked to have a chance of doing that in their game Saturday, until an unfortunate late goal got Toronto the win. The Dev's will have to win two in a row now to send those canucks packing. In a related story, former governor Christine Todd Whitman, a long time hockey fan, was seen at the game cheering on the Devils. It gave me pause, however, to see her drinking bottled water after the Bush administration recently lowered drinking water standards. We know now how much she actually supported that decision.
